Located in the Lakeview neighborhood, the OUT Chicago Hotel and Resort is a high-energy, full-service experience hotel based on the program of its sister hotel in New York City—the OUT NYC. As architect and designer, KOO incorporated contextual materials and a pedestrian-friendly street frontage on Halsted Street to help create a strong identity for the building. Eight stories tall, this 130-room building includes a combination lounge, restaurant, and boutique space at street level; a spa and great lawn within a central atrium; and an event space at the eighth floor.
